How much walking is involved?
All the challenges can be played indoors with zero walking or outdoors for the full experience and approx. 1 mile of walking.
What do I get out of it?
Not only do you get to immerse yourself in a fun and exciting role-playing adventure, the outdoor versions of the game also take you on a impromptu tour around town, where you may see, experience, and learn things you never knew or may have otherwise not seen.
What skills are necessary?
You may be called upon to utilize your problem solving skills, critical thinking, listening, observation, reading, math, and other “basic” skills.
Do I need a team? Is there a maximum #?
Obviously it’s funner with a team, and probably easier to discuss ideas, concepts, and bring different skill sets to the challenge, but no you don’t need a team.
There is an indoor printed version of these games, which can accommodate an unlimited # of participants. We suggest a max. # of 6 people per Ipad/kit for the best experience.
Where are the bathrooms?
In Rockport, you will walk by the public bathrooms on T-Wharf at some point.
In Gloucester, you will walk by Pavilion beach (porta-potty) and the Stage Fort Park visitors center and bathrooms.
What happens if I have problems?
Most problems can be solved using your AR assistant, or by giving up that puzzle. If it’s a technical issue, call us at 978-546-5050, or stop by our shop.
