    Paddle through quaint Manchester by the Sea harbor by Ram, and House Island, and out into the Salem Sound to explore Misery island.
    Explore the remains of the 120 year old Misery Island Club and other buildings.
    Named in the 1620s, when shipbuilder Captain Robert Moulton became stranded here during a winter storm—he described the ordeal as “three miserable days”. Park at Masconomo Park.

    We’ll wind our way through the peaceful and slow moving Ipswich river. We are sure to see tons of wildlife from Northern water snakes, ducks and numerous other bird species. We make a lunch stop along the way.
